Core Support

 

 

Every young person and their family has access to:

 

• Support from a named Group & Family Worker

• Individual support sessions

• Access to a Counsellor

• Therapeutic group sessions

• 1 Therapeutic residential (dependent upon attendance at therapeutic group sessions)

• Family Work – 2 family visits per student per year minimum (more as appropriate)


• Access to voluntary business/community mentors

• Access to work related / Work Experience opportunities

• Active support with progression

• Support from a dedicated Connexions PA

• Networking / collaboration with other agencies (as appropriate)

• Crisis Intervention & Advocacy


• Annual Showcase / Graduation events

• Attendance registers to referrers

• Regular Progress Reports

• Termly Review Meeting with referrers

• Training for young people & professionals (peer mentoring / mentoring / social inclusion practice)

 

 

Careers, Education, Information & Guidance (IAG)

 

All students recieve support with their learning and personal development so that their individual needs are met and they develop the skills and motivation to engage and progress in education, training and employment oppurtunities.

 

All PPP students can access a Connexions funded dedicated independent in-house Personal Advisor.
